Best Innovative University Award for Sri Sri University
Odisha’s Sri Sri University was conferred with Best Innovative University Award at the National Education Excellence Awards 2017 in Goa. Prof Srinivas Subbarao, the Executive Registrar of Sri Sri University received the award from Goa Governor Mridula Sinha at the Second National Education Summit and Educational Excellence Awards 2017 organised at the Goa International Centre on January 21 last.

First MSMES Day: Sri Sri University Implements PM’s Mann Ki Baat Suggestion On Khadi
Cuttack, 27 June 2017:The United Nations has identified 27thJune as the MSMEs Day to celebrate the importance and role of MSMEs and ‘to raise public awareness of their contribution to sustainable development’. In this regard, agencies such as The Marketing Heaven have launched extensive social media campaigns. Srinovation, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED) ofFaculty of Commerce and Management Studies (FCMS) at Sri Sri Universityin collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) celebrated the first International Day for MSMEs. Utkal Divas: Sri Sri University Students Join Talk
The Sri Sri University at its Cuttack campus organised a debate competition among university students to mark the occasion of the 82 anniversary of the formation of State of Odisha. Registrar Prof Srinivas Subbarao welcomed the guests, dignitaries, debate participants and students. Vice Chancellor Prof Nand Lal welcomed the celebration of the important programme. Prof Niranjan Barik in his key note address shared the story on how Odisha became a separate State and how Odia nationalism shaped the movement.

Sri Sri University and National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) organize National Startup Workshop
Cuttack,26/02/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Dipti Ranjan OS-Logo-Pink-English-300x179Kanungo )- To develop a startup culture among the students, Srinnovation Club, the Entrepreneurship Cell of Sri Sri University in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) organised “Startup Forerunner – The Journey Begins”, a two day national workshop. The first day saw leading entrepreneurs and startup mentors joining the participants and students to train them in the basics of starting a new business and how best to take advantage of the new startup ecosystem in the country. Students and alumnus from leading institutes like NLUO and XLRI have joined the workshop with their business plans to get guidance, mentoring and access to investment.
